TISSNET Exam Pattern 2026: Check CUET PG and CAT Pattern
TISS will consider only CUET PG and CAT scores for admission to its post-graduate courses including the MBA programs from 2026. If you want to prepare for the entrance test for TISS courses, you need to go through and compare the CAT and CUET PG exam pattern to know which exam will suit you the best.

Ans. TISSNET will not be conducted in 2026, so there is no official exam pattern for this year. TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) now considers CAT and CUET PG scores in place of TISSNET for admission to its postgraduate programs. Therefore, candidates should now familiarize themselves with the exam patterns of CAT and CUET PG instead.
Ans. From 2026 onwards, CAT is accepted for management programs like MA in HRM & LR and ODCL, while CUET PG is considered for other postgraduate courses. The CAT exam is divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. CUET PG varies by subject but generally includes objective-type questions based on domain knowledge and aptitude.
