MAT February 2025 result and score calculation will depend on the marks each candidate scores in Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. The Economic & Business Environment section will not be included in MAT percentile calculation. Each question in MAT carries 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Unanswered questions will not have any negative marking. MAT composite score will be between 199 and 801. The scores for the four main sections will be presented on a scale of 0 to 100.

After MAT results are declared, it's time to begin the MBA/PGDM admissions process. First, shortlist MBA colleges based on your MAT score and submit your applications. Download your scorecard and analyse your percentiles. After researching potential colleges, check which institutions match your MAT percentiles. Next, all candidates should prepare for the subsequent steps, including the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) for final admission. It is highly recommended for qualifying candidates to join online platforms for learning soft skills and personal development. If you are not satisfied with your MAT score, you can reapply for the next session to improve your score.
Candidates can choose MBA colleges based on their MAT scores for admission. While applying for the exam, they can select up to five participating institutes. AIMA will directly send their MAT 2025 results to these selected institutes for the PI shortlisting process. If candidates want to apply to more than five B-schools, they must fill out separate admission forms for those institutes.
