Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management Mumbai admissions are conducted through merit-based evaluation via state-level and national-level entrance examinations. LLIM Mumbai Eligibility Criteria

1. Maharashtra State Candidates: 

  • Applicants must hold a minimum of three-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. 45% marks are required for reserved categories, economically weaker sections, and candidates with disabilities from Maharashtra.
  • Additionally, candidates must appear for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2026.

2. All India Candidates, J&K and Ladakh Migrants:

  • Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 45% for reserved categories from Maharashtra.
  • A valid score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, or GMAT.

3. NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals: Candidates must possess a recognized bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.

4. Second-Year Lateral Entry: Candidates must be Indian citizens who have completed a B.E., B.Tech, BBA, or BMS (four-year program).

LLIM Mumbai Admission Process

LLIM Mumbai admission process for the MBA/MMS program will be conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The process for applying to LLIM Mumbai is as follows:

1. Online Registration: Complete the registration by filling out the online application form at mahacet.org. Pay the registration fee as follows:

  • Applicants who appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET are exempt from the registration fee.
  • Others with valid scores in CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, or GMAT exam must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 1200.

2. Document Verification: Candidates can get their documents verified either by E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny.

3. Merit List: A provisional merit list will be published online. The final merit list will be released after corrections of candidates' objections.

4. CAP Rounds (Seat Allotment): Admissions are conducted in four CAP rounds based on merit and preferences. Then the candidates must pay a Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 1,000 online to accept the allotted seat.
