SR University Scholarship 2026: Eligibility, Amount, Benefits

SR University Scholarship program is dedicated to supporting students through various awards. We recognize and appreciate outstanding academic achievements, unique personal circumstances, and a diverse array of talents. The Comprehensive list includes Merit, Employee Children, Sibling, Alumni, Defense Personnel, and Sports Scholarships. Additionally, support is extended to Children Without Parents, Physically Challenged Students, and those from specific regions or facing particular challenges. Continuation of these scholarships typically requires maintaining a strong CGPA (e.g., 7.5, 6.0, or 7.0), no academic backlogs, and a clean disciplinary record.

SR University Scholarship List

SR University offers a variety of scholarships to support students, recognizing academic excellence, special circumstances, and unique achievements.

Merit Scholarship

Students qualify for merit-based awards based on their results in key examinations, including Intermediate, 10+2 (CBSE), JEE Main, EAMCET (TS & AP), or equivalent tests. These scholarships apply only to tuition fees and are valid for the first year of the undergraduate program.

To retain the scholarship in subsequent years, students must secure a minimum CGPA of 7.5, avoid academic backlogs, and maintain good conduct.

Employee Children Scholarship

Children of SRU staff enrolled in full-time programs are entitled to a 50% scholarship on their first-year tuition fee. To retain this benefit in the following years, students must maintain a CGPA of at least 7.5 out of 10, have no academic backlogs, and possess a clean disciplinary record.

Sibling Scholarship

For families with more than one child attending, a 10% scholarship is available on the first year's tuition for the second sibling. This scholarship does not apply to cousins. For the scholarship to continue in later years, the student must achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or higher (on a 10.0 scale), have no backlogs, and have no disciplinary issues on record.

Alumni Scholarship

Graduates of our university who choose to pursue a postgraduate or PhD program here are eligible for a 15% Alumni Scholarship on their first year's tuition fees. For this scholarship to continue in later academic years, recipients must maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or higher (on a 10.0 scale), avoid any academic backlogs, and have no disciplinary actions recorded against them.

Defense Personnel Scholarship

A 10% scholarship on first-year tuition is available for the dependents of active or retired defense services personnel, families of martyrs, and members of paramilitary forces, which includes state police. This scholarship stacks with any merit-based awards. To keep this scholarship in subsequent years, students must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above (on a 10.0 scale), have no backlogs, and have no disciplinary cases recorded against them.

Sports Schaolsrhips

A Sports Scholarship, ranging from 20%, 40%, 60%, to 100%, is awarded first-year tuition fees to students based on their participation and achievements at the district, state, national, or international levels in sports. While the initial scholarship amount is for the first year, it may be continued or adjusted in subsequent years, provided the student:

• Maintains a CGPA of 6.0 or higher (on a 10.0 scale) and has no academic backlogs.
• Students must continue to excel in sports and actively represent the University in sanctioned competitions.
• Upholds an exemplary disciplinary record.

Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

Scholarship for Children's without parents

You can receive a 20% scholarship towards your initial year's tuition. To continue receiving this scholarship in subsequent years, students must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher on a 10.0 scale, have no academic backlogs, and ensure no disciplinary cases are recorded against them.

Scholarship for Physically Challenged Students

Students with a physical disability exceeding 50% are granted a 20% scholarship on their initial year of tuition. This award is additional to any merit scholarship. For the scholarship to extend into future academic years, recipients need to achieve a CGPA of at least 7.0 out of 10.0, have no pending courses, and maintain a clean disciplinary record.

Scholarship of children of Padma Award Winners

We offer a 10% scholarship applied to your first year's tuition fees. To keep this scholarship in subsequent years, you'll need to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher on a 10.0 scale, ensure you have no academic backlogs, and keep a clean disciplinary record.

Scholarship for Students from Jammu & Kashmir

A 20% scholarship is available for initial tuition fees. This scholarship can be renewed in subsequent years if the student achieves a CGPA of at least 7.5 out of 10.0, has no academic backlogs, and faces no disciplinary action.

Scholarship of Victims of Acid Attack, Terrorist Violence

We offer a 20% scholarship on your first year's tuition fees. For this scholarship to continue in subsequent years, you must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher on a 10.0 scale, have no academic backlogs, and ensure no disciplinary cases are recorded against you.

Scholarship for Winners of Bravery Awards

You can get a 20% scholarship on your first year's tuition fees. To keep this scholarship in the years that follow, you'll need to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher (on a 10.0 scale), have no outstanding courses, and ensure you have a clean disciplinary record.
