Exam Details:
Ans: According to the MET exam pattern, the question paper will be divided into several sections. The four sections of the MET question paper are - Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English. Candidates are required to answer all the questions in all the sections to increase their chances of getting the required marks for admission. The total duration for all the sections of the MET is 2 hours and no extra time will be given. Candidates will be allowed to skip sections and come back to the questions later and take the exam. However, this should be done within the allotted time of the exam.

Ans: Previous year papers are the best reference to understand and identify the important topics in MET Chemistry. The important topics to study in MET Chemistry include Carboxylic Acids and its Derivatives, Carbonyl Compounds - Aldehydes and Ketones, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry Mole Concept, Coordination Compounds, Redox Reactions and Volumetric Analysis, Ionic Equilibrium, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics Atomic Structure, General Organic Chemistry and Organic Molecules and Polymers.
Ans: A total of 60 questions have to be answered in MET paper. Candidates have to answer two types of questions in this paper - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. In the Mathematics section, candidates have to answer 15 MCQ and 5 NAT questions. For Physics and Chemistry sections, there are 10 MCQ and 5 NAT questions. Finally, for the English section, there were a total of 10 MCQs.
