IIT Madras placement 2025 is in the final phase and is showing some encouraging results. Jane Street, the global trading firm, offered the record-breaking highest package of INR 4.3 CPA to IIT Madras students. This is a pre-placement offer to the CSE student who has done internship with the Hong Kong based trading firm. This package includes base salary, bonuses and relocation benefits. IIT Madras recorded other notable offers such as, BlackRock, Glean, Da Vinci exceeding INR 2 CPA; APT and Rubrik extended offers of over INR 1.4 CPA. As IIT Madras placement session for 2025 batch has not yet been completed, we will keep you updated with the final placement data when it becomes available to us.
IIT Madras placement data of 2024 batch is not released yet. However, some of the top recruiters that took part in the placement season of 2024 are Google, Apple, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto Ltd, Cetak Ltd etc. The Computer Science department recorded 90% of the students were placed with median package of INR 84 LPA.
IIT Madras has placed about 80% students of BTech and dual degree courses, and 75% of MTech students until April 30, 2024. As recorded a total number of 1091 students were placed, and 256 companies took part in the placement drive in 2024 placement session of IIT Madras.
As per the provisional report of IIT Madras MBA Placements 2024, the highest and average package offered to MBA students stood at INR 29.65 LPA and INR 16.93 LPA respectively. Almost 37% of the MBA Batch of 2024 received PPOs/PPIs.
