Admission process and Eligibility criteria :
I. Undergraduate (B.Tech) :
Entrance exam : Admission is based on the Joint entrance examination (JEE) main score.
Counseling :
- Candidates must participate in the Joint Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process.
- Seats are allotted based on JEE main ranks ,preference filled by the candidates and availability of seats.
Eligibility :
- Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum percentage criteria may apply as specified by JoSAA.
II. Postgraduate (M.Tech) :
Entrance exam : Admission is primarily through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.
Application Process :
- Candidates need to apply through the Centralized Counseling for M.Tech (CCMT).
- Seat allocation is based on GATE score, preferences and availability of seats.
Eligibility :
- Candidates must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology.
- Specific eligibility criteria can vary by specialization.
III. Ph.D Programs :
Application Process : Applications are invited twice a year, usually in June and December.
Selection Process :
- Candidates are shortlisted based on Academic records and Performance in written tests and interviews conducted by the institute.
Eligibility :
- A master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum percentage /CGPA as a specified by the institute.
- Some departments may consider candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a high CGPA.
Additional Information :
- Reservations : There are reservations for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.
- Document Verification : Candidates must provide all required documents for verification during the counseling/ Admission process.
- Fees : Fee structure varies by program and is subject to change. Scholarships and Financial aid are available for eligible students.
