Candidates who have secured JEE Main 2025 rank among the top 2.5 lakh candidates are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2025. The application form is not yet released and it is expected to release in April 2025. You will be able to fill out the application form by following the below-mentioned instructions:
Step 1: Register through the official website at jeeadv.ac.in by providing your JEE Main 2025 roll number, password, and security PIN.
Step 2: Provide personal details, such as your name, communication details, address, etc. to fill out the application form.

Step 4: Upload the scanned images of the documents required and pay the application fee.

The total number of candidates may vary in the presence of tied ranks / scores in any category.
You should be born on or after October 1, 2000, to be eligible for this exam. There will be a five-year age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
You can attempt for JEE Advanced maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
You should have appeared for 10+2 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
You should not have been admitted to an IIT under any academic program that is listed in JoSAA Business Rules. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled after any joining any IIT are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025.
The JEE Advanced 2025 admit card will be released on the official website. Your admit card will mention your designated test centre. You can expect the admit card to be released in May 2025. You must carry your admit card along with an ID proof to the exam centre.

The provisional answer keys will be released for Paper 1 and Paper 2, after the exam is concluded. You can access the provisional answer key through the official website in June 2025 (tentative date). You can verify your answer with these answer keys and submit any challenges you might have. After considering the challenges, the final merit list will be released on the official website.
The JEE Advanced 2025 result is expected to release in the month of June 2025. It will contain your combined score from Paper I and Paper II. It will also include the candidate’s rank in the Common Rank List (CRL) and category rank. After the result is announced, you can download your scorecards, which are required for the counselling process.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process after JEE Advanced is concluded. After completing the counselling process, seats across the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes will be distributed among the candidates. JoSAA only conducts the counselling process in online mode. All the eligible candidates must have to participate in the joint seat allocation process by filling in their preferred choices of courses and institutes.

Ans: The authority had increased the JEE Advanced exam total attempts to three. But they cancelled it later and reverted it back to two attempts in two consecutive years.
