Great Lakes Institute of Management Admission 2026 for PGDM course candidates need to appear in for GMAT/CAT/XAT. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 60% scores across the 10th, 12th, and undergraduate. Freshers must have less than 36 months of work experience for PGDM course of 2 years duration at Great Lakes, and for candidates having more than 36 months of work experience can apply for PGPM course of 1 year duration at Great Lakes.
How to Apply for Great Lakes Institute of Management Admission 2025?
- Eligible candidates can apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management through the online form available at the institute's website.
- Candidates need to make a payment of INR 2,000 online and fill in the online application form on www.greatlakes.edu.in. Candidates have the option to select their suitable campus either at Chennai or Gurgaon. They can also apply for both the campuses through the common application form by selecting the appropriate option in the registration form.
- Final selection happens based on candidates’ performance in essay writing, personal interview along with other academic criteria.
- Candidates have to provide a valid official email-ID of the recommender. The recommendation letter needs to be submitted online after the final selection of the student.

Diversity & Merit Scholarships
Great Lakes offers Diversity and Merit scholarships to students of a one-year PGPM course. In 2025–26 session a total of 40 scholarships, each of Rs.5 Lakhs will be awarded. Number of female candidates who will be awarded the scholarship will be 30%.
Dr. Bala V Balachandran Merit Scholarship
The Dr. Bala V Balachandran Merit Scholarship is offered to candidates with exceptional potential and a comprehensive track record. The Dr. Bala V Balachandran Merit Scholarships provides full Tuition Fee waiver (Rs. 11.5 lakhs for PGPM 2025-26) and access to mentorship from CXOs as well as high achieving Great Lakes alumni.
