BITS Pilani Admission 2025 takes place through various entrance exams conducted by the University. The 50+ UG and PG courses offered at BITS Pilani are categorized into Integrated First Degree, Higher Degree, and PhD programs. The Integrated First Degree Program has BE, BPharm, and MSc courses. However, BITS Pilani Higher Degree Program has ME, MPharm, and MBA courses. Apart from these, the University also offers various full time and part time PhD courses. BITS Pilani Admission 2025 to all the courses is based on entrance examinations. Admission to the University starts in January and the application process is in online mode.

• For BE, BPharm, MSc admission, you need to appear for BITSAT examination.
• However, for the MBA in Business Analytics course, you need to appear for BAAT exam. CAT and XAT exams are also accepted for the MBA course.
• For ME, MPharm programs, you need to appear for BITS HD exam. GATE and GPAT scores are also accepted for admission to the ME and MPharm courses, respectively at BITS Pilani.
• Admission to the full time and Part time PhD course is based on BITSAT, UGC-NET, JRF exam. The final selection is made based on the Personal Interview round.

BITS Pilani Admission Process 2025

BITS Pilani Integrated First Degree Admission 2025

BITS Pilani offers BE course in 13 specializations and MSc in 3 specializations. Admission to the Integrated First Degree programs (BE, BPharm, and MSc) at BITS Pilani is through BITSAT examination. However, you can also take admission through State Board Topper's scheme, BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy, and International Students' Admission Scheme.

BITSAT Examinations 2025

BITSAT is a Computer Based Online Test for admission to the Integrated First Degree Program. It is a 3 hour examination organized in two sets of dates, BITSAT Session-1 and BITSAT Session-2 that is separated by a gap of a few weeks.

Application Fee for BITSAT Examination

BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy: Through the international collaboration, you who have qualified for the BITSAT exam can opt for BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy. Students can get two separate degrees from BITS Pilani and RMIT University, Australia at the same time.

Through State Board Toppers: The first rank holder from State Board can get direct admission to BITS Pilani. They do not need to appear for BITSAT examination.

Admission for the International Students: If you are an International student and have SAT score can skip the BITSAT examination and get direct admission to BITS Pilani. A minimum aggregate score of 1160 out of 1600 on SAT is required to be eligible for admission at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani.

BITS Pilani Higher Degree Admission 2025

BITS Pilani offers Higher Degree courses in ME with 18 specializations, MPharm in 4 specializations, and MBA in Business Analytics. BITS Pilani conducts BAAT exam for admission to the MBA in Business Analytics course, whereas BITS HD is for ME and MPharm courses. However, GATE and GPAT exam scores are also considered for admission to the MPharm and ME course, respectively.

Apart from this, a qualifying mark in CAT, XAT is also accepted for MBA admission, though you need to first appear for BAAT exam. The final selection is made based on the scores obtained in Personal Interview, Group Discussions.

BITS Pilani offers full time and part time PhD course in the following departments: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Pharmacy, Economics & Finance, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management.
