BITS Pilani is an AICTE approved Deemed University in Pilani, Rajasthan that offers Integrated First Degree Programs in BE, BPharm, and MSc courses. Furthermore, BE has 9 specializations and MSc has 6 specializations. BITS Pilani First Degree Programs have been made in such a way that a student can complete any Integrated First Degree Program within 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters.However, under Dual Degree Scheme, a student can take admission in two degrees simultaneously and will need 5 to 5½ years i.e.,10 to 11 semesters as a course duration.
BITS Pilani fees for the First Degree integrated program is INR 5.19 Lakhs for the duration of first year except the INR 3K refundable caution deposit. However, a student needs to pay a Summer Term Tuition Fee (if registered) which is 35% of the Semester Tuition Fee i.e. INR 90.8K.
The tuition fee will be twice in case a student opts for dual degree program. A student needs to pay INR 10.38 Lakhs for the first year for dual degree program.
NOTE: Summer Term is like a short course that can be done during summer vacation. Moreover, if a student fails in any exam during the tenure of the course, they can cover up the marks during Summer Term semester. Also, it helps to finish some extra courses in less time.
