IMI Kolkata Admissions are entrance based. The flagship course of the institute is PGDM and for admissions you should have a valid score of any of the CAT, GMAT, CMAT or XAT exams and academic performance. Once the first shortlist is out, candidates will be called for the personal interview and WAT. Finally, IMI Kolkata will release the shortlist based on the overall performance of the candidate in Personal Interview, Academics, Work Experience, Entrance Test Score.

IMI Kolkata Admissions 2025
IMI Kolkata offers PGDM, Online PGDM and FPM programs. For Admission to the IMI Kolkata PGDM program, CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT scores are considered. The PGDM admissions in IMI Kolkata consists of 2 stages, i.e. on stage 1 interview calls were made to the eligible students based on their management entrance test score and overall Academic record.
On Stage 2, after the Personal Interview, WAT is also conducted by IMI Kolkata. Final admission offers are released on the basis of overall profile of a candidate which includes PI and WAT performance, Work Experience, Entrance test score, and overall academics.
For IMI Kolkata FPM Admissions, applicant is needed to submit the research proposal of not less than 5000 words. For selection, the college will call the selected students for presentation and personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for FPM admissions in IMI Kolkata.
