Kolkata: National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) tomorrow, March 22, 2025. CUET UG 2025 exam is set to be scheduled from May 08, 2025, to June 01, 2025. Complete your registration before the deadline.

To apply for CUET UG 2025, candidates should use the direct link and fill out the registration form. The last date to pay the registration fee is March 23, 2025, at 11:50 pm. Payments can be made using credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking.

CUET 2025 will cover 37 subjects, and the question paper will follow the NCERT syllabus. However, 8 topics have been removed from the CUET UG 2025 syllabus. Additionally, candidates can make corrections to their application forms from March 24 to 26, 2025.

What is CUET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria?

CUET UG 2025 eligibility criteria are listed below:

  • Candidates need to qualify their class 12 exam from a recognized board.
  • General category candidates need a minimum of 50% marks in their Class 12 board exam.
  • Reserved category candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in Class 12.
  • There is no age limit for candidates to apply for CUET UG 2025.
  • Applicants must be Indian citizens. OCI are also eligible to apply for CUET 2025.

What are the Changes Announced for CUET UG 2025?

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has announced several updates for CUET UG 2025 based on recommendations from an expert panel. Here are the major changes:

  • Flexible Subject Choice: Candidates can appear for the CUET UG 2025 exam in any subject, regardless of the subjects they studied in class 12.
  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted in CBT mode (Computer-Based Test).
  • Reduced Subjects: CUET UG subjects have been reduced from 63 to 37. Subjects like teaching aptitude, legal studies and entrepreneurship have been removed.
  • Exam Duration: Each exam will be 1 hour long.
  • General Aptitude Test: Scores from the general aptitude test will be used for admission to courses related to discontinued subjects.
  • No Optional Questions: There will be no optional questions in CUET UG 2025.

CUET UG 2025 application form correction window will be open on March 24 and will close on March 26, 2025, on the official website.
