WBJEEB has started the WBJEE 2025 registration process from January 22, 2025, on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. The application process involves online registration, form filling, uploading the documents, and fee payment. You must have to complete the registration and pay the required fee before the deadline of February 23, 2025. Unregistered candidates cannot appear for the WBJEE 2025 exam, which is scheduled for April 27, 2025.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE 2025 eligibility on its official website. The eligibility criteria will outline the required age, educational qualification, nationality, domicile, and minimum marks required to apply for the exam. They should have completed the 12th standard with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.
Age RegistrationThe lower age limit is 17 years as of 31.12.2025. The candidate must have been born on or before 31.12.2008. There is no upper age limit to appearing in the WBJEE 2025. However, for admission to Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as of 31.12.2025.

The WBJEE 2025 registration form is available from January 22, 2025, on the official website. To register for this entrance exam, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Online WBJEE 2025 Registration

  • Visit the official website at wbjee.nic.in and click on the "New Registration" link.
  • Provide the required details, such as name, date of birth, gender, type of identification, etc.
  • Create a password and security questions with the answer.
  • Preview your provided details and click on the "Submit" option.
  • After the successful registration, you will get an application number on your registered mobile or email.

Step 2: Fill WBJEE 2025 Application Form

  • You have to login to the WBJEE candidate portal with the application number and password.
  • Provide the required details to fill out the WBJEE 2025 online application form.
  • You have to select three preferred exam cities from the given options.

Step 3: Upload Photograph & Signature

  • After filling out the application form, upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  • After that, you have to pay the WBJEE 2025 registration fee in online mode. You can pay your application through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI. There will be no service charges imposed by the authorized banks.

Step 5: Print Confirmation Page

  • In the last step, you have to download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future reference.

FAQ - WBJEE

Ans: In case you forgot your WBJEE application number, then retrieve it by following the instructions below:

  • Visit the official website of WBJEE at wbjee.nic.in.
  • Select the WBJEE 2025 login window link.
  • From there, select the “Forgot Application No.” option.
  • Provide the required details and select “Get Application Number”.
  • The application number will be sent to your registered mobile or email.

Ans: The WBJEEB will activate a form correction window on their official website at wbjee.nic.in. You can make changes to your application form during the given time. 

Ans: The WBJEE 2025 admit card release date will be announced soon. It will be issued to the candidates who have completed the registration process. You will be able to download your admit card from the official website by logging into your account.

Ans: Yes, you have to a black ballpoint pen to mark the answer on the OMR sheet for WBJEE 2025. Using any other type of pen or pencil in the exam may lead to the rejection of your OMR sheet.

Ans: A student can appear for the WBJEE exam as many times as they want, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

Ans: The WBJEE 2025 will be held in 50 zones, among them 48 in West Bengal, and other two in Assam and Tripura. Last year, WBJEE was administered in 306 test centers.

Ans: Yes, the questions asked in the WBJEE exam are divided into three categories. The Category 1 and 2 questions have a negative marking of ¼ of the total marks allotted to the question. There will be no negative making for the questions in Category 3.
