Graphic Era University was founded in 1997 by Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, in Dehradun. The Graphic Era had earned the status of Deemed University by UGC, a statute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The university has been awarded as a ‘Grade A’ institution from 2015 till 2022 when NAAC upgraded it to ‘A+’.
Graphic Era University has been conducting NBA accredited 7 academic programs like Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, and Master of Business Administration. Overall, the university has a total of 85 UG, PG and doctoral programs with over 50,000 alumni established in various sectors. Since 2022, Graphic Era University is also conducting online UG & PG programs.
