Candidates who have registered at the JEE Main portal can sign in at the official website. Following the steps below you can sign into your account:
- Visit the official website of the JEE Mains to get started. jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Link to the Online Registration Form for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1’.
- Once the Sign in screen opens there is a Sign in section at the right.
- Next enter the application number, password, and Captcha in the respective spaces.
- Tap on the ‘Sign in’ button below.
JEE Mains Login- Lost Application Number
In case the applicants have lost access to their password or application number they can recover it by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website of the JEE Mains to get started. jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Link to the Online Registration Form for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1’.
- Just below the login section there is a button tagged ‘Forgot Application Number?’
- Click on it and you will be directed to the application number reset page.
- Enter your candidate’s name, Father Name, Mother Name, DOB, Captcha
- Tap on the ‘Get Application Number’ button below. Once your identity is validated you will find the application number displayed on the screen.

Candidates who aren’t able to recall their password can reset it by following the steps here:
- Visit the official website of the JEE Mains to get started. jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Link to the Online Registration Form for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1’.
- Now you will be able to find see login section on the screen.
- Just below the login section there is a button tagged ‘Forgot Your Password?’
- You can retrieve your password via security questions or through email.
- Answer the security questions and you will receive your password.
- For resetting through email, the password will be sent to your registered email address. Check your email inbox and you are ready to go.

Once the candidate has submitted their application form 2025, they can check the status by signing in. Here is how you can check your application form status:
- To begin the user, needs to open the official website of JEE Mains. jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Once the webpage opens there is the ‘Candidate Activity’ tab.
- Select the login option and the main login page appears.
- Enter your application number and password and you can sign in to check your application form status.
