The National Testing Academy has revised the exam pattern that was being followed earlier. There are some changes to the exam pattern. This includes the removal of the optional questions in Section B of both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Now there is a negative marking of -1 for the JEE Main section B questions.
JEE Main 2025- Changes in Syllabus
The syllabus has been changed. The National Testing Academy has reverted to the tie-breaking policy which was being followed earlier. Topics including vectors, scalars & vectors, addition & subtraction, unit vectors, resolution of vectors, and scalar & vector products have been removed from the exam syllabus for 2025.

Less Number of JEE Main 2025 Exam Centres
The exam centers have been reduced. In the year 2024, there were a total number of 300 exam centers, but for the year 2025, the number of exam centers has been reduced to 284. To find their exam center candidates must check their admit card.
How to Download JEE Main 2025 Admit Card
The Admit Card will be released on January 19, 2025. You can download the admit card from the official website after it is released. Here is how you can download the admit card:
- Go to the official website of JEE Main. jeemain.nta.nic.in
- After the website opens you will find a “JEE Main admit card 2025” link.
- Click on it then choose the ‘Through application number and password’ option.
- Enter your application number and password in the respective fields.
- Tap on the ‘Sign In’ button.
- After logging in you will be able to view the admit card and download it.
