What's After the UPSC 2025 Examination Notification Out?
According to the UPSC IAS 2025 notification, service allocation preferences, formerly collected after the Mains results, will now be gathered after the Prelims results. Qualified individuals will have a 10-day window following the Prelims result declaration to submit their preferences. This step is mandatory for all qualified individuals, who must submit their service preferences and pay the Rs. 200 fees for the Civil Services (Main) Examination. Applicants who fail to indicate their service preferences will not be considered for those services. Thus, accurate completion of service preferences during the application process is essential for proper consideration.
