Kolkata: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the official conducting body, has not issued any such notification regarding a postponement. The PIB Fact Check team clarified this in a post on X, urging aspirants to rely only on the official website, natboard.edu.in, for accurate updates on NEET PG 2025.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has issued a warning about a fake notification circulating on social media, falsely claiming that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Postgraduate (PG) 2025 has been postponed to August 17, 2025. The government has clarified that this information is misleading.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has published that NEET PG 2025 exam scheduled is remain same, it will take place on June 15, 2025, as CBT (computer-based test) mode in two shifts.

The official notice stated that the information bulletin for NEET PG 2025 will be released on the board's website in due course.

NEET PG is the national-level entrance exam for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses in medical institutions across India. Candidates are advised to visit natboard.edu.in, the official NBEMS website, or follow studyriserr.com/news for future updates.
