NTA is conducting JEE Main 2025 Session 2 at different centres located in various cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.

Kolkata: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2. NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 exam city intimation slip in the second week of March 2025, while JEE Main 2025 admit card will be available for download three to four days before the exam start.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is set to be schedule on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9, 2025. It includes Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech), Paper 2A for (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and combined Paper 2A and Paper 2B (B.Arch and B.Planning) which will be held in two shifts.

What is JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Pattern?

The JEE Main 2025 exam includes two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

  • Paper 1 is for admission to B.E./B.Tech programs at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other state-recognized institutions. It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, required for IIT admissions, and will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Paper 2 designed for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses. It is divided into two subcategories: Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning).

Mode of Exam:

Paper 2A (B.Arch):

  • Aptitude and Mathematics sections will be conducted in computer-based-test mode.
  • The Drawing Test will be conducted offline (On A4 sheets).

Paper 2B (B.Planning):

  • Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-based questions.
  • Conducted entirely in CBT mode.
