Registrations for IGNOU's 38th Convocation are now open. Passed-out students from the Dec 2023 & June 2024 exams can apply for their certificates. Read the article below for more details.
Kolkata: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is expected to hold its 38th convocation in February or March 2025. Students who successfully completed their programs during the December 2023 and June 2024 Term-End Examinations will be eligible to receive their original certificates at this grand event.

Students attending the IGNOU's 38th convocation must collect their certificates from their designated regional centers, as certificates will not be available at other locations. They can choose to attend the convocation in person or have their degree, diploma, or certificate delivered by post. To ensure smooth delivery, students must provide their current address accurately in the registration form.
The application fee varies depending on the program and must be paid online using a debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Rupay) or via net banking from any bank. The registration fee structure is given below:

The steps to register for IGNOU's 38th convocation are given below:
Ans: If the convocation is not conducted at the student’s designated regional center due to unforeseen circumstances, they will need to attend the ceremony at a nearby regional center, typically within the same state or a neighboring one. Alternatively, their degree, diploma, or certificate will be sent to their registered address via post. Further details regarding this will be communicated later.
Ans: If students are not invited to attend the convocation or are unable to participate despite paying the required fee, their degree or diploma, including P.G. certificates and certificates for specific programs, will be mailed to them by their respective regional center after the convocation. Students are encouraged to get in touch with their regional center to inquire about their certificates.
Ans: Every student will receive their IGNOU degree only after the convocation ceremony has taken place.
