Most of the institutes provides the Master of Engineering programme through the entrance exam such as BITS ME, GATE, DASA PG, SRMJEE PG, SRMGEET, etc.
These are some of the well - known entrance exams are listed below :
- GATE : This is a national - level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate engineering intuitions and positions in public sector firms. To apply for this entrance exam, candidates must be in the third or higher year of their undergraduate degree.
- SRMGEET : This is a national - level entrance exam conducted by SRM University to provide the admission to their PG courses.
- SRMJEEE PG : SRM Institute of Science and Technology conduct this university - level entrance exam to provide admission to PG engineering programmes throughout the country. This exam is held in 13 cities throughout the nation.
- IIT PGEE : This entrance exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes in India.
