VIT Vellore provides scholarships to meritorious and deserving students as financial assistance. The scholarships are provided to the students based on their ranking in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE).

For the State and Central toppers, a 100% tuition fee will be waived for four years. Plus, Two toppers from the government schools in rural areas will also have a 100% fee waiver under the STARS scheme.

Sl. No. 15 Lady students who studies in Government Schools from standard VI to XII are eligible for the scheme.

C. Admission Scholarships
1.	CAT / XAT / GMAT Score of 95 percentile and above are eligible for full tuition fee waiver
2.	CAT / XAT / GMAT Score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.
3.	MAT score of 791 to 800 are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
4.	MAT score of 760 to 790 are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver
5.	NMAT score of 346 to 360 are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
