Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), a NAAC grade A++ University conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various streams of science, engineering and commerce. KIIT Admission Process 2025

KIIT Admission 2025 will be based on the KIITEE UG and PG courses. Registration process for KIITEE has started from November 10, 2024.

  • Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) offers UG and PG courses in BE/BTech, BCA, MTech, MBA
  • KIITEE is the entrance exam for candidates applying for BE/BTech/BCA and MTech courses
  • For BArch program at KIIT one need to appear either in NATA or KIITEE
  • For MBA course at KIIT one need to have qualifying marks at CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT or in any equivalent all India entrance tests
  • For BBA and BCA program at KIIT candidates need to score 50% at 10+2 level and qualify at the KIITEE

KIIT Entrance Exam 2025 Application Process

Applicants can access KIITEE application form and prospectus online only. Candidates willing to take admission to KIIT will have to apply online at www.kiitee.ac.in or www.kiit.ac.in.

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to submit the Online Application Form:

  • Browse KIIT web site www.kiitee.ac.in
  • Select "Online Application" option
  • Go through the Instructions and fill up the form
  • Upload Photograph, Signature & 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet
  • Submit the Online Application Form
  • Candidates should keep a hardcopy of "printed application form" for future reference.

KIIT Admission Criteria 2025: UG Courses

Candidates seeking admission for any undergraduate courses in KIIT need to appear for KIITEE and achieve the qualifying score required by the respective courses. Below are the criteria to check your eligibility to apply to any KIIT UG courses:

  • Must be born on or after 01.07.2004
  • Candidates who passed 2023, 2024 10+2 board examination in or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2025
  • For BTech Engineering admission you need to have scored at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together in 10 +2.
  • For B.Tech & M.Tech Biotechnology candidates need to score at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together in 10+2.
  • BBA applicants need to pass Class 12 board in any stream having Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate
  • For BSc (Nursing) candidates who scored at least 45% in aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Age limit should minimum 17 years and maximum of 35 years as on December 31, 2022

KIIT Admission Criteria 2025: PG Courses

Candidates seeking admission for MBA in KIIT need to qualify in entrance exams such as CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT. For other postgraduate courses candidates need to appear for KIITEE to qualify for the course. Below are the criteria to check your eligibility to apply to any KIIT PG courses:

  • For MBA, candidates need to complete their graduation in any discipline with a minimum marks of 50% in aggregate. They also need to have marks of 50% in aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12 board examination
  • Candidates seeking admission to KIIT MSc course must have 50%-55% in graduation
  • For MCA Graduates in any stream with minimum 50% marks, having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates opting for MTech need to qualify in GATE. GATE qualified candidates having a Score of 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination. Alternatively, candidates with B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA / First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC)

FAQ - KIIT Odisha

Ans: KIIT conducts multiple UG and PG courses in various streams. The university is mostly popular for its BTech courses in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. However, it also offers courses in business management in UG and PG level.

Ans. Admission to KIIT School of Management is entranced-based. Candidates opting for BBA or MBA admission need to appear in the KIIT Management Entrance Exam to qualify for the course.

Ans. KIIT admission process is strictly online. To apply to KIIT courses one need to follow these steps:

  • New applicants need to register themselves, creating a new ID and password.
