IIM Lucknow was established in 1984 by the Government of India as the 4th IIM. As per the 2024 NIRF rankings, IIM Lucknow is ranked as the 7th top B-school in India. 

IIM Lucknow provides full-time PGP, PGP Executive, and PhD programs. For PGP admission, the college only accepts CAT scores. The total fee for the PGP course is INR 20,75,000.

IIM Lucknow recorded 100% placement for the 2024 pass-out batch. In 2024, it has recorded highest package of INR 65 LPA for domestic placement and INR 1.23 CPA for international placement. In the 2025 summer placements, students received an average stipend is INR 1.31 L per month.

The fee structure at IIM Lucknow for different courses are given in the table below. However, if students are applying for a hostel they have to pay INR 3.45 Lakhs – INR 3.87 Lakhs depending on AC or Non-AC rooms.

IIM Lucknow Admission Process

The admission process at IIM Lucknow involves evaluation of the CAT score, academic performance, extra-curricular activities and work experience. However, students should note that the work experience is not mandatory for the PGP course.

IIM Lucknow is spread across 185 acres and provides all the top facilities to the students. Also, the campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, and more about the facilities is given below:

• Library

The library at IIM Lucknow has around 60,000 learning resources for students. Also, it is centrally located, fully air conditioned and the total area is around 30,000 square ft.

• Hostel

This scholarship is to support students from families with limited financial resources. This opportunity is open to all students, regardless of caste, creed, gender, or religion. But the primary criteria is total annual gross family income (from self, parents, or spouse).
