IIT Bombay Placements 2025 have started. In the first phase of Placements, IIT Bombay hosted more than 50 companies. On the first day of this season, IIT Bombay witnessed companies like Ola and Flipkart among 50 others making placement offers. Multinational companies like Nvidia, GE Aerospace, McKinsey, BCG, Pine Bridge, Blackstone, and Sony Japan are some of the prominent recruiters at IIT Bombay. The highest international package recorded this year was INR 2.2 crore per annum, made by Da Vinci Derivatives for roles at its Amsterdam office. IMC Trading shortlisted 10 students offering a package of INR 1 Crore each. The highest domestic offer for the year 2025 is INR 1 CPA as of now. Quadeye, Graviton, and WorldQuant extended domestic offers of over INR 90 LPA.
The placement season of 2024 at IIT Bombay recorded an average of annual package of INR 23.5 LPA compared to last year's INR 21.8 LPA. The overall placement rate was at 74.53% at IIT Bombay Placement 2024. A total of 1,979 participated for placements and 1,475 students accepted offers during IIT Bombay placement 2024.
