Tripura NEET UG counselling 2024 merit list will choose the students who are the residents of the state. Around 5,071 candidates are mentioned in the provisional merit list, and among them approximately 2,600 students qualified for the NEET 2024 test. DME Tripura announced the NEET UG counselling 2024 dates on 13 August, 2024.
Tripura NEET UG counselling 2024 will offer a gateway to admission for courses under 85% state quota seats such as BASLP, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, and MBBS.
The counselling will be conducted in online mode, and there are 5 to 6 steps such as the release of the merit list, seat matrix, registration process, the counselling participation and the announcement of seat allotment result, followed by the reporting at the college and document verification.
Eligibility for the Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2024
To join the Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2024 registration, students must be eligible for the set criteria.
- Students have to be the resident of Tripura
- Candidates must have qualified in NEET 2024.
- Aspirant’s parents must have stayed in the state for at least 10 years before the release of the registration form.
- Children of defense personnel and ex-servicemen raised in Tripura for at least five years before the release of the registration date can apply.
- Students who have passed class 12 in Tripura, and their parents working in the state are eligible.
Steps to Register for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2024
To register for the counselling, students have to visit the official website. Follow the below steps.
Step 1– Go to the official website dmeonline.tripura.gov.in
Step 2- On the homepage, at the center left side under “New Registration” section select the application course. Enter the NEET 2024 roll number, NEET 2024 Application number and click on “Get Details” to complete the registration.
Step 3- To Login, at the center right side of the page provide the user ID, password, verification code and click on “Login” to sign in. Pay the registration fee, and take a print out of the payment.

This is a compulsory deposit and candidates have to pay it through bank deposit or demand draft. The payment has to be paid in the favor of the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura a nationalized financial institute, State Bank of India is preferred. Students have to submit the bank receipt at the Director of Medical Education, Birdurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala office.
