What are SSC GD Exam Day Guidelines?

The SSC GD Exam Day Guidelines are a set of rules and instructions issued by the Staff Selection Commission to regulate the conduct of the GD Constable examination. As per the official notification, you must remember the following points:

Admission Certificate cum Commission Copy

The Admission Certificate has been modified as Admission Certificate cum Commission Copy and the same will be retained at the examination centre as record of the Commission. Accordingly, the candidates are advised to keep an additional copy of their Admission Certificate cum Commission Copy for future references.

What to Carry Along with SSC GD Admit Card?

Download and print your admit card well in advance. Carry a hard copy to the exam centre. Along with the admit card, bring a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) and a blue/black ballpoint pen.

No other items are permitted inside the examination hall. Ensure the name on your ID matches the name on your admit card. Discrepancies may lead to entry denial.

Reporting Time

Arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late arrivals will not be permitted. Familiarize yourself with the location of your exam centre beforehand to avoid any last-minute rush.

What Not to Carry at SSC GD Exam Hall?

Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, books, notebooks, electronic devices, sharp objects, weapons, food items, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Possession of any prohibited item may lead to disqualification.

Points to Remember When You’re Inside the Exam Hall?

  • Maintain decorum inside the exam hall. Do not engage in any malpractice or communicate with other candidates. Follow the instructions given by the invigilators.
  • Carefully read the instructions on the computer screen before starting the exam. Manage your time effectively. In case of any technical issues, inform the invigilator immediately.
  • Rough work should be done on the designated sheets provided by the exam centre.
  • After the exam, follow the invigilator’s instructions regarding the submission of your answer sheet or other exam materials.
