National Scholarship Portal, NSP is a nationally registered platform in the country that includes over 50 scholarships from different sections of the society. This is organized by the Government of India under the National e-Governance Plan, NeGP. There are numerous scholarships offered under the regulations of the Government of India.
NSP scholarships have 4 sections such as Central scholarships, state scholarships, AICTE scholarships and UGC scholarships. UP Scholarship Portal
Uttar Pradesh government runs this portal with the name, “Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System”, generally known as the UP Scholarship portal. The platform offers 10 financial aids for the students residing in UP. Students have to be eligible for certain criteria to apply for scholarships. Candidates can check their application status, make corrections to the applications, etc.

The Backward Classes Welfare (BCW) Department of Government of West Bengal organizes Online Application for Scholarship in Studies, Oasis scholarship portal for the permanent resident students of West Bengal. Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Portal is run by the state government of Punjab, that offers scholarships to students studying at the post-matric level, and they have to be a permanent resident of the state. HP ePass Scholarship Portal
The Department of Higher Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh runs this prominent online portal with the name of ePass, Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarships. The website hosts over 25 scholarships, and the portal covers the schemes under categories such as technical schemes, state-sponsored schemes, and centrally sponsored schemes. The resident students of Himachal Pradesh state only can apply for the scholarships within a specified period.

Government of Odisha run the PRERANA scholarship portal for the resident students of Odisha. Post-Matric Scholarships Registration Release and Network Automation is the full form of PRERANA. According to its name, the portal focuses on providing scholarship facilities to ST & SC, Minority & Other Backward Class students by giving the scholarship amount directly into their respective bank accounts in a timely manner. The portal only hosts post-matric scholarships for students from SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC categories.

Independent Portals
There are some independent scholarship portals in India that are run by various government departments. These portals host scholarships to ensure the efficient implementation and its disbursement. Some of the well-known independent portals are All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, University Grants Commission, UGC, and Ministry of Human Resource Development, MHRD. These government organizations that focuses in the development of the education sector of India. These portals invite students to apply for scholarships through online applications.
AICTE
All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE is a dedicated platform that imparts technical education in India. It hosts various scholarships for students to inspire them to pursue technical education. Some of the main scholarships offered by AICTE are, Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme, PG (GATE/GPAT) Scholarship, Pragati Scholarship for Girls, Saksham Scholarship for Disabled Students, and more. To allow students to apply for the scholarships, AICTE has a separate portal. However, students can get detailed information about the scholarships on the main and official portal of AICTE.

UGC
The University Grants Commission is a very important platform that focuses in the development of education in India. UGC is responsible for maintaining and determining the standards of college education, it also offers a wide range of scholarships to students so they can pursue higher level education. Each year, the department declared total 15 scholarships to students from various strata of life, and this reduces the financial restrictions for them. Almost 20,000 get scholarships and pursue higher education at PG, UG, doctorate and post-doctoral level.
MHRD
Ministry of Human Resource Development is an important contributor in the education sector in India. The portal has two departments to handle the education system in India, such as the Department of Higher Education and the Department of School Education and Literacy. MHRD also offers financial help to students studying abroad or in India through multiple schemes under two sections, external scholarships and national level scholarship.
The national level scholarships influence the studies inside the nations, the external grants assist students in pursuing higher education in foreign countries through various student-exchange programs. Candidates can apply for over 18 scholarships that are declared throughout the year so students can continue various levels of education
