The national Testing academy is working towards keeping the level of the CUET UG 2024 examination at the moderate side to make it a bit easier for the students so that they can prepare with lesser amount of stress, said Kumar.
Lesser Subject for CUET UG 2024 in hybrid mode
As said earlier CUET UG 2024 has reduced the number of subjects to allow students prepare for the exams with less stress. The decision is made by the exam conducting authorities as it was noted that many students were struck with anxiety and stress as the exam had a total of 10 subjects.
Hence, they reduced the subject list with the major goal to streamline the examination process and also did some technical changes that is solely to ease the whole exam procedure for the students.
NTA CUET UG 2024 New Timings
The exam will also see some alternations in the shift timings as it is now to be conduced in three shifts between 9:00 am to 11 am, from 12:30 to 2 pm, and from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
However, for the CUET UG exam it acts as a national level common entrance exam in various UG programs throughout central, private and other universities that are participating for the courses. The NTA CUET UG 2024 examination is to be conduced across 300 centres throughout the nation.
The Chairman of UGC M Jagadesh Kumar made a statement that the higher registration subjects the exam will be conducted making use of the OMR sheets in place of the Computer Based Test format.
