NEET UG 2024– The National Testing Agency, NTA opens the correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate, NEET UG on March 18, 2024. Applicants can make changes in their applications from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:20 via offline (pen and paper) mode. The exam will be conducted throughout the nation and in 14 cities outside India. the registration for the exam started on February 9, 2024. The correction window will close on March 20, until 11:50 pm.
How to Correct the NEET UG Application Form
Applicants have to visit the official website to correct the application form. Follow the below steps.
Step 1– Go to the website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Step 2– At the center-left side of the page click on the “Click here for registration/Login” option to access the next step.
Step 3– Here, at the center right side enter the application session, select login mode, enter the application number, password, and security pin, and click on “Login” to access the account. After login, you can correct the application form.
List of Editable and Un-editable Information in the NEET UG 2024 Application
- Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent and Present Address, and Documents Uploaded- Cannot be changed or edited.
- For Aadhaar Verified Candidates- Candidate Name, Gender, Date of Birth– No. Father’s and Mother’s Name– These can be changed.
- Category – Candidates can change category and upload Category Certificate
- Sub-Category (PwD) – Candidates can change sub-category (PwD) and upload Category Certificate
- City and Medium– This information can be changed.
- Qualification and passing year– Can be altered.
- For Aadhaar not Verified Candidates- Father’s and Mother’s Name can be changed
- Category– Candidates can change category and upload Category Certificate
- Sub-Category (PwD)- Candidates can change sub-category (PwD) and upload Category Certificate
- Date of Birth and Gender– Can be Changed
- City and Medium– Can be Changed
- Qualification Including Passing Year– Class 10 and Class 12 can be added.

- General and NRI- INR 1,700
- General-Economically Weaker Section (Gen-EWS) and Other Backward Classes Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL)- INR 1,600
- Scheduled Caste (SC) /Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability or Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWD or PWBD), Third Gender- INR 1,000
- Foreign Candidates- INR 9,500
