What is the Eligibility Criteria of NEET 2024
- Nationality- Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, NRI, PIO, OCI
- Age requirement for NTA NEET 2024- Candidate has to be 17 years of age at the time of admission as of 31 December 2024.
- Minimum qualification- Students must have passed 12th class in English, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Physics from a recognized board.
- Minimum marks required- General – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, PWD – 40%.
- There’s no limit for the attempts in this test.
How to Complete NEET Application Form 2024
Candidates can apply before the last date which is March 9 by 5 PM. They have to visit the official website. Follow the below steps.
Step 1- Eligible candidates have to open the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Step 2- At the center left side of the page click on “Click Here for Registration / Login” to access the next step.
Step 3– If you are a first-time candidate, then at the center left side of the page click on “New candidate register here” option to access the registration section.
Step 4– Read the information on the page and agree to the terms and click on “Click here to proceed” to go to the next step.
Step 5– Here, choose the required options and follow the instructions to upload the necessary documents, pay the application fee and complete the NEET 2024 registration process.
Step 6– After registration, return to the login section, and here provide Application For the exam, Login By method, Application Number, Password, Security PIN and click on “Login” to complete the sign in process.
NEET UG 2024 Specification of Scanned Documents
- Passport Photograph- White background with latest photograph. Size – 10 Kb to 200 Kb. Format – JPG. 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI.80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background.
- Postcard size picture- Must be taken on or after September 1, 2022. 4″x6″ (Size 10 kb – 200 kb). 4.25 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI.
- Signature- Sign with black pen on a white background, and not be in capital letters. Size – 4 Kb to 30 Kb. Format – JPG. 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI.
- Left-hand thumb impression- Blue ink on white paper, Size: 10 kb to 200 kb. 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI.
- Category certificate- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate. Size – 50 kb to 300 kb. PDF format.
- PwBD certificate- Size – 50 kb to 300 kb. PDF format.
- Citizenship certificate- Size – 50 kb to 300 kb. PDF format.
NEET 2024 Application Fees
- General Category fee is- INR 1700.
- General-EWS/ OBC-NCL fees- INR 1600.
- SC/ST/PH/Third gender Candidates Fees- INR 1000.
What are the Documents Required for NEET 2024 Application
- Scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, Class 10 pass certificate and postcard size photograph.
- Valid mobile Number
- Valid Email Address
- Class 12 details
- Father and Mother’s name. the correct spelling.
- Aadhaar number (last 4 digits)
- Class 12 Roll number by the Board/Election Card, ration card number, passport number, bank account or any other valid government identification number.
- Payment method such as net banking, UPI payment ID or Credit/Debit card.
NEET 2024 Application Form Image Correction
NTA will release the information about the image correction for NEET 2024 exam application form. The image should be corrected before the last application date. If applicant need to correct the image or signature they have to login with the online account and after that change or rectify the issues.
