ToggleRevised CBSE Syllabus for Classes 3 And 6
The new syllabus for classes 3 to 6 is going to take action from the 2024-25 academic session. In an official letter, NCERT outlined the revision plan. The notice highlights the needs of parents, teachers, and school heads, about the recommended timetables for grades 3 and 6. NVS, KVS, CBSE, and NCERT were supported by the Department of School Education and Literacy, and they are collaborating to set this goal into action in the National Education Policy, NEP 2020. The syllabus change will require new textbooks, which will be provided soon to the CBSE-affiliated schools.
NCERT Notice for Syllabus Change
The notice stated that NCERT will provide the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, KVS, and the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE with a bridge program from class 6 and 3 guidelines. This initiative is to help students make an easy transition to a new area of study, The World Around Us (for grade 3 students), Vocational Education, Physical Education, and Arts. Also, the textbooks are aligned with NCF-SE 2023.
The class 3 syllabus has been updated to review the current educational system, and they cover subjects such as The World Around Us, Vocational Education, Arts, and Physical Education. Schools are encouraged to share the information with parents, teachers, departments, school leaders, and stakeholders.
