Here are the steps that you have to follow to access the NSP Login portal:

How to Reset the NSP Login Password

In case you forgot your password, then you can utilize the forgot password option to reset it. To reset the NSP Login password, follow the steps below:

  • Visit the official website of NSP at scholarships.gov.in
  • Then, select the “Students” option from the homepage.
  • Right under the “Apply for Scholarships” option, select the “Login” button.
  • Under the password field, you need to select the “Forgot Password” option.
  • Select the “Continue” button and it will redirect to the external site.
  • Enter your OTR (One Time Registration) and select “Get OTP” option.
  • Enter the OTP that you received and complete the Captcha.
  • After providing all the required details, select the “Verify” option.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the NSP login password.

How to Apply for One-Time Registration (OTR) of NSP Login

It is mandatory to have an OTR Number to apply for any scholarships through the NSP Portal. No fee is required for OTR, but you must have an active mobile number to apply. You have to follow the steps below to apply for One-Time Registration:

  • Visit the NSP official website at scholarships.gov.in.
  • You have to select the “Students” option from the homepage.
  • Right under the OTR option, select the “Login” button.
  • There, you have to select the “Register” option for the next step.
  • Agree with the guidelines of OTR and give the Aadhar consent.
  • Select the “Next” button and it will take you to the next page.
  • Enter your valid mobile number on the given field and select “Get OTP”.
  • Provide the OTP on the given field and complete the Captcha verification.
  • Then, click on the “Verify” option for the next step.

After that, you have to complete the e-KYC process to complete the registration. Upon successful registration, you will receive a reference number on your registered mobile number.

You have to download the NSP OTR app and the Aadhaar Face RD service on your Android device. Complete the Face-Authentication through using the reference number that you received. Once you complete the Face-Authentication, OTR will be generated. Once the OTR is allotted, you can apply for the scholarship schemes through the NSP portal.

Aadhaar is also required to register for OTR. If the Aadhar is not assigned, then you can use the Enrollment ID (EID) for Aadhaar. For the minor students, they can use the Aadhaar card of their parents for registration.

How to Retrieve OTR Number of NSP Login

In case, you forgot your OTR number, then you can easily retrieve it by following the steps below:

  • Visit the NSP official website at scholarships.gov.in.
  • Click on the “Students” option from the homepage.
  • Right under the “Apply for Scholarships” option, select the “Login” button.
  • Then, you have to select the “Forgot OTR” option, under OTR field.
  • Click on the “Continue” button and it will redirect you to another page.
  • Provide your Aadhaar No. and select the “Get OTP” option.
  • Enter the OTP and complete the captcha, and click on “Submit”.

How to apply for a Scholarship through the NSP Login Portal

If you have the OTR number, then you can simply log in to your account and apply for the scholarship. To apply for the scholarship, you need to follow this step-by-step procedure:

  • Firstly, you have to log in to your NSP Login portal at scholarships.gov.in.
  • Once you log in to your NSP account, select the “Apply Fresh” option.
  • Check the boxes after reading the disclaimer and click on the “I Agree” option.
  • Select the domicile state, scholarship category, and application type.
  • After that, simply click on the “Submit” option to submit your application.
  • Then, go to the My Applications section and click on the “Proceed” option.
  • Click on the “Fill Application” option and complete all the steps. To fill out the application form, you have to go through these steps: General Information, Academic Details, Application Specific, Scheme Available, Scheme Specific Details, and Upload Document.
