What are the Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG 2024
- Other than the NEET PG 2024 exam, candidates must have passed MBBS and have the pass certificate recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Candidates must have finished a compulsory internship before the date of the MCC counselling.
Steps to Register for MCC NEET PG 2024 Counselling 2024 Round 1
Candidates have to visit the official website to register. Follow the below steps.
Step 1- Go to the official website mcc.nic.in/pg-medical-counselling.
Step 2- On the homepage, under the “Candidate Activity Board” click on the “New Registration” option to access the next step.
Step 3- Click on the “New Candidate Registration” option to access the next step.
Step 4- Read the information on the page carefully, and agree to it by clicking on the “I Agree” section. Proceed to the next step.
Step 5- Enter the NEET PG Roll number, application number, candidate’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and security pin and click “Submit” to complete the registration. Now, pay the fee, and take a printout of the application.
Step 6- Once registered, now you have to log in using the NEET PG roll number, password, and security pin and click on “Sign in” to complete the login process.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Fee
Candidates participating in the round 1 counselling of NEET PG 2024, have to pay the fee based on their categories. The fees are-
Non-Refundable: For 50% All-India Quota/Central Universities: General- Fee- INR 1,000. SC/ST/OBC- INR 500.
For Deemed Universities: All categories- INR 5,000.
Refundable: Non-Refundable: For 50% All-India Quota /Central Universities: General- Fee- INR 25,000. SC/ST/OBC- INR 10,000.
For Deemed Universities: All categories- INR 2,00,000.

Steps of NEET PG 2024 Counselling
NEET PG 2024 counselling comprises 6 rounds. Candidates have to go through the process step by step.
- Online Registration: Qualified candidates of NEET PG 2024 must register on the official website and pay the counselling fee.
- Choice filling and locking: After the registration, candidates have to choose their preferred colleges and lock the choices.
- Seat allotment round: Next, comes the seat allotment round, where candidates will be assigned seats to various institutions based on their choices and availability.
- Acceptance of seats: After the allocation of seats, applicants can either accept the assigned seats, or participate in the next round of counselling, or they can leave the seat.
- Document Verification: In this step, candidates have to provide the required documents at the assigned colleges. They have to report in person for admission.
- Mop-Up Round: If there are any vacant seats once the counselling rounds are over, there will be more rounds to fill those vacancies. This will be another opportunity for the applicants to upgrade their previous choices.
