JEE main 2025 syllabus
NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2 jeemain.nta.nic.in. The syllabus has been released for both paper 1 and paper 2 in the pdf format. The JEE Main 2025 syllabus pdf is a comprehensive guide for aspirants. This PFD covers all courses such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Paper 1. For Paper 2A, which covers BArch test consist of questions of Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing. For Paper 2 B Planning syllabus is released.

FAQs

Q. What are the changes in JEE Main 2025 Syllabus?

A. As per the JEE Main 2025 syllabus pdf, the questions of section B in both paper 1 and paper 2 have been removed. Also, there will be –ve marking of –1 for JEE Main Section B Questions.

Q. Has JEE Main 2025 centres been reduced?

A. Yes, NTA has reduced the number of total exam centres to 284 from 300 of the previous year. In 2025 some national and international test centres have been scrapped, and some new ones have also been added.

Q. What are the guidelines for JEE Main 2025 Paper 2A tiebreaker questions?

A. As per the NTA, the candidates having the same score will be allocated the same rank irrespective of their age and application number.

Q. How much extra timing will be provided to PwD candidates in JEE Main 2025 Exam?

A. The extra time has been named as “compensatory time” in 2025. Candidates belonging to PwD and PwBD categories will be provided one hour extra i.e a total of 4 hours in JEE Mains 2025.  Further, Candidates using scribe can avail a compensatory time of 20 minutes.

Q. Has the 75% criteria been removed in JEE Main 2025?

A. No, as per the official notification the 75% marks requirement in 10+2 is still there and candidates need to follow that.
