The deadline for IIT JAM 2025 registration is on October 11, 2024. The last date to edit the gender/category/test paper and exam city is November 18, 2024. Interested students can upload their certificate of OBC-NCL/EWS till November 20, 2024. The news and confirmation of scribe assistance or compensatory time will be announced on December 30, 2024, and the hall ticket/admit card will be out in January 2025.
Overview of IIT JAM 2025
- Examination Date: 2 February 2025 (Sunday) will be conducted in two sessions. First session: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Exam subjects- Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA). Second session: 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Exam subjects- Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Physics (PH).
- Test Format: The test will be computer-based.
- Test Subjects: Physics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, and Mathematics.
- Exam Locations: It will be conducted in around 100 locations in the country.
- Exam Eligibility: this exam is open to all students. Candidates who have completed the qualifying degrees in 2025 can apply. There are no age restrictions for this test.
- In all matters related to this exam, the decision of the organizing college will be final for all candidates.
Admission Criteria for IIT JAM 2025
- The admission is based on the All-India Rank (AIR) in each paper.
- Candidates from other countries must comply with the admission college’s regulations.
- Students who have completed a qualifying degree in 2025 can apply for JAM 2025. The Undergraduate degree must have been completed before the admission date at the admitting college, and students must provide proof of passing records.
How to Register for IIT JAM
Candidates have to visit the official website to apply. Follow the below steps.
Step 1– Go to the official website joaps.iitd.ac.in.
Step 2- Candidates have to register first, and then login using their enrollment ID or email address, password, captcha and click on “Login” to complete the process.
Step 4- During registration, students have to pay the application fee and download the confirmation page as proof.
