Candidates from unreserved, OBC categories can apply for this course by paying the application fee of INR 300. While the SC/ST category has to pay INR 150. Applicants will get their application number and a link to download the application form on their registered mobile numbers or email address.
Candidates applying for this program have to submit their COAP, Common Offer Acceptance Portal registration number. Students who have completed their BTech from IIT do not have to offer this.
Candidates who get admission to the MTech ICDT program will get a monthly scholarship of INR 12,400. The institute will also offer financial help of up to INR 60,000 to full-time students for providing their research work at international conventions.
IIT Gandhinagar MTech ICDT Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have 55% marks in BE, BTech, BS, and MSc is the basic requirement.
- SC, ST, and PwD category students will get 5% marks relaxation.
- Applicants also have to present a GATE scorecard for admission.
- BTech graduates from IIT colleges must have 8.0 or more CGPA/CPI for admission if they are applying without a GATE.

Step 1– Go to the official website iitgn.ac.in/admissions/mtech
Step 2- On the homepage, at the center of the page click on “Click here to apply” option.
Step 3- Enter the registered email, password and click on “Login” to complete the sign in process.
Step 4- If you need to register, click on “Register” option to access the next step.
Step 5- Here, provide candidate’s name, email, password, confirm password, enter captcha and click on “Register account” to complete the registration.
Step 6- After logging in, you can complete the application form and keep a print out of the submission for future references.
