Krishan Mishra, Chief Executive Officer at FPSB India and Prof. Archana Shukla, Director-in-charge of IIM Lucknow finalized the MoU.
The partnership has the goal to combine careful academic training with professional level certification, which can assist the new generation to prepare with the required skills to address the growing needs of the sectors.
According to the press release, the partnership will provide an important advancement in increasing the certification processes and financial planning education in India.
The MoU will have the following results-
- Initiation of Certification Program in Financial Planning– It launches a comprehensive certificate course structured for professionals and interested candidates, combining academic skills with practical knowledge.
- Developed Financial Planning Education– This joint effort is to enhance the standards of financial planning studies in the country, which ensures industry-relevant training and knowledge.
- Professional Certification Integration: Combination of FPSB India’s certification process with IIM Lucknow’s academic excellence will offer a gateway to obtain certification from globally recognized CFP.
- Experienced Workforce Development: It will address the gap in the industry by readying the new generation of financial planners along with the skills to provide comprehensive finance related services.
- Worldwide Career Opportunities: It will empower individuals to obtain rewarding career options in the country and globally.
While speaking about the collaboration, Prof. Archana Shukla said that the partnership with FPSB India shows the institute’s industry-relevant education, collaboration for the benefit of the industry and students, and commitment to innovation.
Krishan Mishra asked students to begin financial planning with the first salary of their lives, and look for advice from credible sources.
Prof. Vikas Srivastava. Dean (Programs) at IIM Lucknow further added, that the need to launch this program is very important and the partnership with FPSB India will prove a step forward towards the assistance of the future generation financial planners.
