The exam will be conducted 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025 in 2 shifts. A candidate can appear for up to two subjects in the exam.

Candidates have to visit the official website to apply. Follow the below steps.
Step 1- Visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2- On the homepage, under the drop-down menu “Applications” section click on “Apply Online” to access the next step.
Step 3- Here, scroll down and click on “Register Here” to enter First Name, Middle Name, Surname, Name of the Candidate and click on “Confirm” to proceed with the registration and complete the process. Pay the application fee and take a print out of it for future use.
Step 4– To login, click on “Login” from the upper right side of the page to provide enrollment ID or registered email ID, password, captcha and click on “Login” to sign in.

- Women Candidates: Normal Fee- INR 900. Late Fee- INR 1,400
- SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates: Normal Fee- INR 900. Late Fee- INR 1,400
- Other Candidates Including International Applicants: Normal Fee- INR 1,800. Late Fee- INR 2,300
