The CAT 2024 entrance exam will be conducted on 24 November 2024 in 170 cities across India. This year, over 2 lakh candidates will appear for this national-level entrance test for admission into MBA programs in various institutes in the country.

What Documents to Carry with the CAT 2024 Admit Card on the Exam Day
Other than the admit card, candidates have to carry a valid photo ID proof like an Aadhar card, PAN card, Ration card, Voter ID card, driving license, passport, etc.
CAT 2024 Exam Day Instructions
- Candidates have to bring two printed copies of their admit card with a valid photo ID proof.
- Without the admit card and the ID proof candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- A writing pad and pen will be provided to each candidate for rough work, which they have to return after completing the exam.
- Candidates must write their name and registration number on the writing pad.
- All examinees must arrive at the exam centre before the exam time.
- Candidates must use the reference number on the admit card to identify the wing/lab/door of the exam.
- Candidates must sign the admit card only in the presence of the invigilator in the exam hall.
- Any electronic gadget like an iPad, mobile phone, or calculator is not allowed in the exam hall.
- Clothes like hoodies, link jackets, cardigans with pockets, head guards, or caps are not allowed in the exam hall.
- Candidates must not wear metal jewellery in the exam hall.
- Candidates with pacemakers, or metal implants in their body, must bring medical certificates for the same.
