Regarding the upcoming CAT 2024, the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta issued an alert notification for the aspirants of this important exam against some fake and fraudulent websites that are disguising as the CAT 2024 official website.
These websites are pretending as the official website, targeting applicants and using their personal information illegally. IIM Calcutta warned the applicants to be cautious and visit only the official website, and not to engage in phishing scams.
Official authorities of CAT 2024 have declared that there’s only one official website, iimcat.ac.in. Other than this, no other website has the authority to offer application and admit card release activities. all candidates should check the below points:
- Candidates must check and re-verify the official website of CAT 2024.
- Aspirants must be cautious of the unsecured websites that asks for payments and personal information.
- Students must report any kind of suspicious or fraudulent activities to the help desk of CAT, helpdesk@iimcal.ac.in.
CAT 2024 must have a valid email address and mobile phone number for the entirety of the selection process. After the conclusion of the registration process, the admit cards will be out from 4 November to 24 November, 2024, and the exam will be conducted in November and the result is expected to be declared on January 2025 second week. The CAT test first shift will start from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, and the second shift will begin from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The third and last shift will be from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
CAT 2024 is conducted for taking admission various Fellow/Doctorate or Postgraduate programs of IIMs in India. The scores of this exam will allow the candidates to take admission in non-IIM colleges as well. The official website of CAT has a list of non-IIM institutes, in 2023, total 91 non-IIM colleges used the scores of CAT for admission to their various Management courses.
