Doon University provides scholarships for academically excellent and full-time students. The details of scholarship including Central/State government and institute scholarship is given below:

Pandit Mahanand Dangwal (Ifirti Nagar, Tehri Garhwal) Scholarship

Doon University provides 8 – 10 scholarships under Pandit Mahanand Dangwal (Ifirti Nagar, Tehri Garhwal) Scholarship every year. The stipend is INR 3000 per month. It is provided on a means cum merit basis, and the renewal is based on scholarship guidelines. Students with an annual family income less than INR 3 LPA can apply. However, if no candidate is found, the annual limit will be increased to INR 5 LPA. The announcement for the same is made after the admission process.

Doon University Students Aid Fund (DUSAF)

The Doon University Students Aid Fund (DUSAF) is set up by the university to provide financial assistance to economically weak students. The fund is given from student aid fees and donations/ funds by charitable trusts, individuals, institutions, Central/State Governments, etc.

Students with good behavior/conduct, academic performance, and challenging economic conditions will be considered. Also, 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th, and 9^th semester students cannot apply. This scholarship in Doon University will be given for 1 year only.

e Scholarship of Social Welfare Department

The e Scholarship of Social Welfare Department is awarded by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. This award is only given to SC/ST/OBC students of Uttarakhand. Students can check the details of the scholarship at escholarship.uk.gov.in. Students can fill in the application from the official portal, and the university will provide assistance for it.

Doon University Fee Waiver

This scholarship in Doon University is provided for SC/ST candidates from Uttarakhand. Students will receive a 50% fee waiver under this ‘Fee Waiver’ scheme.

UGC Scholarships and Fellowships

Students can apply for a UGC scholarship at Doon University. These scholarships are offered every year by the central government and students have to meet the eligibility beforehand. Students can check the details of the scholarships at ugc.ac.in.

Gold and Silver Medals for Excellence in Education sponsored by Sitaram Jindal Foundation

Students who score highest in Masters in Environmental Science and Masters in Economics are awarded this scholarship. Two medals (Gold and Silver) are awarded for each program.
