The written examination for the direct recruitment of Constable Civil Police positions-2023 was conducted in 10 shifts, following the guidelines outlined in the notification dated December 23, 2023, and adhering to relevant service rules. Candidates' marks were normalized to ensure fairness. A merit list was prepared based on these normalized marks and Uttar Pradesh's reservation policies. Around 2.5 times the number of category-wise vacancies, totaling 174,317 candidates, were selected for document verification and the physical standard test. This process was carried out from December 26, 2024, to February 7, 2025, and was successfully completed.

Candidates who successfully cleared the document verification process and PST got a chance to apply for physical efficiency test, which was conducted from February 10, 2025, to February 27, 2025.
