Kolkata: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will conduct re-examinations for Class 12 practicals on April 7th and 8th, 2025, offering a second chance to students who missed the initial sessions. This decision, announced on 28th March, Friday, ensures all eligible students complete their Intermediate practical assessments, a crucial part of the UP Board's Class 12 evaluation.

The original practical exams were held in two phases, from February 1-8 and February 9-16, 2025. Due to various reasons, some students were unable to attend. To address this, UPMSP will hold re-examinations under strict supervision, mirroring the original guidelines, including CCTV monitoring for transparency. Examiners appointed by regional offices will administer the tests.

"If all students from a school missed the initial exams, the re-examinations will take place at their respective schools on April 7 and 8, 2025," stated an official UPMSP notice. This initiative underscores UPMSP's dedication to student accommodation while upholding examination integrity. Over 2.57 million students participated in the Intermediate exams, where practicals significantly impact final scores.

Students and parents have welcomed the announcement, alleviating concerns about missed opportunities. UP Board, having completed Class 10 and 12 theory exams on March 12, is now evaluating answer sheets, aiming for results in late April. The re-examination ensures practical scores are finalized for overall result compilation.
