Kolkata: National Testing Agency has started the registration for SWAYAM January 2025 semester, allowing candidates to apply online through the official website exams.nta.ac.in/swayam/ until April 21, 2025, with online fee payment closing on April 22, 2025.

SWAYAM examination, covering 594 courses in both CBT and Pen & Paper format, will be held on May 17, 18, 24, and 25, 2025, in two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

How to Register for SWAYAM Semester January Session 2025?

To apply for the SWAYAM January 2025 examination, candidates should follow these steps:

Step 1: Search the official NTA SWAYAM website at exams.nta.ac.in/swayam/.
Step 2: Then click on the "SWAYAM January 2025 Registration" link, which can be found on the homepage.
Step 3: A new webpage will appear, requiring candidates to complete the registration process.
Step 4: After successful registration, log in to your newly created account.
Step 5: Fill out the online application form and pay the necessary application fee.
Step 6: Click "Submit" button and download confirmation page.
Step 7: Print a hard copy of the confirmation page for your records.

Ans: Yes, NTA will provide a correction window from April 23 to April 25, 2025 (11:50 PM). During this period, you can make corrections to certain fields like exam centre choice, personal details, scanned photo and signature, and educational details.

Ans: On the SWAYAM login portal, there is a "Forgot Application Number?" link. By clicking on it and providing your name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, and the security pin, you can retrieve your application number.

Ans: You need to upload scanned images of your recent photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 10 kb–200 kb) and signature (JPG/JPEG format, 4 kb–30 kb). If applicable, you also need to upload your PwD certificate and category certificate (JPG/JPEG format, 50 kb to 300 kb).
