Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) successfully conducted the class 5th and 8th board examinations from February 24 to March 05, 2025, with a massive participation of 22.85 lakh students from across the state. Examinees included students from government schools, private institutions, and registered madrasas.

The evaluation process was carried out at 322 designated centers statewide, where over 1.19 lakh evaluators meticulously assessed answer sheets before uploading the results to the official portal. What are the Passing Marks for MPBSE Class 5th and 8th Board Examination 2025?

To successfully pass the MP Board class 5th and 8th examinations, students must meet minimum passing criteria. As per the board's regulations, students are required to secure at least 33% marks in each individual subject, meaning they must obtain a minimum of 33 out of 100 marks in every paper. Additionally, they must maintain an overall aggregate of 33% across all subjects to qualify. Failure to achieve the required marks in any subject will result in the student being declared unsuccessful. This standardized evaluation system ensures that students demonstrate a basic proficiency in all subjects before progressing to the next academic level.

What is MPBSE Supplementary Exams for Students Who Fail?

Students who do not meet the passing criteria in one or two subjects will be given an opportunity to improve their scores through supplementary examinations. However, those who fail in three or more subjects will not be eligible for supplementary exams and will be required to repeat the entire class to reappear for the annual examinations.
