RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2025 Out: Check Marking Scheme, Total Marks, Sectional Marks
RRB NTPC exam 2025 consists of CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, Typing Skill Test, and document verification/medical examination. The exam is conducted online and includes the subjects General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
Kolkata: The Railway Recruitment Board has announced 11,558 vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in the 2024-25 notification. These vacancies are available for both Undergraduate (Levels 2 and 3) and Graduate (Levels 5 and 6) positions within Indian Railways. RRB NTPC 2025 will be conducted on a computer-based mode in two stages. Candidates who clear CBT 1 proceed to CBT 2, which covers similar subjects but with an increased number of questions and a higher difficulty level.

NTPC recruitment offers a variety of posts. Graduate level positions include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Station Master, among others. Undergraduate level posts include Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk.

Candidates qualifying in CBT 1 and CBT 2 for Traffic Assistant/Station Master positions must take the CBAT.
The RRB NTPC TST requires candidates to type without using editing tools or spell check. The following table summarizes the requirements:

Ans: The marks obtained in CBT 1 are crucial for shortlisting candidates for the CBT 2 examination. However, these scores are not factored into the final merit list. CBT 1 serves as a screening process to filter candidates for the next stage. Only the normalized scores of CBT 2 are considered when preparing the final merit list for most positions. Therefore, CBT 1 is a qualifying round, not a scoring round for final selection.
Ans: Document Verification confirms candidate eligibility by checking submitted documents. It's a mandatory final step. Candidates must present original and copied documents. Discrepancies can lead to disqualification. Successful verification is required for final selection.
Ans: The final merit list is prepared based on the normalized scores of CBT 2 and, for certain posts, the CBAT scores (70% CBT 2 + 30% CBAT).
