Kolkata: RRB JE CBT 2 exam for 2024 is today, April 22, 2025. Now that you have your admit card, it's vital to understand the exam day rules. These guidelines dictate what to carry, what to avoid bringing, and the necessary documentation.

For Shift 1 of RRB JE 2025 candidates must report by 7:30 AM, as the gate will close at 8:30 AM, and the examination will commence at 9:00 AM. If you are scheduled for Shift 2, the reporting time is 1:00 PM, with the gate closing at 2:00 PM, and the exam will begin at 2:30 PM. Both shifts are lasting for a duration of 120 minutes.

What are the Exam Day Guidelines You Must Follow in RRB JE CBT 2 Exam 2025?

RRB JE CBT 2 exam 2025's exam day guidelines are given below:

  • Admit Card Download and Printout: Candidates must download their RRB JE CBT 2 admit card and obtain a printed copy. This printout is mandatory for entry into the examination center.
  • Admit Card and Photo ID: The printed admit card must be presented at the allotted RRB JE exam center along with a valid photo identity card.
  • No Hard Copy of Admit Card: The examination authority will not issue any physical (hard) copies of the admit card.
  • Discrepancy in Admit Card: If any inconsistencies are found in the admit card, candidates should promptly contact the examination authority via email.
  • Required Documents at Entry: You must bring your e-call letter (admit card printout), a color passport-size photograph, and a valid original photo ID card to the exam venue entrance.
  • Aadhaar Card for Biometric Verification: Carrying your Aadhaar card is also required to facilitate Aadhaar-enabled biometric verification, in accordance with the Aadhar Authentication for Good Governance Rules 2020.
  • Two Original Photo IDs: You need to carry at least two original and valid photo ID cards (no photocopies, scanned copies, or expired IDs). Acceptable IDs include:
    • Voter ID Card
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Printout of e-Aadhaar
    • Driving License
    • PAN card
    • Passport
    • If a government employee, then bring Identity Card issued for the employer
    • Photo ID card of any of School / College / University
    • SSLC/HSC mark sheet with photograph
  • Failure to Produce Valid IDs: Not presenting the required original and valid photo ID cards will result in denial of entry to the examination.
  • No Photocopies of IDs: Remember that photocopies of ID proofs will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Photo Match: The photograph on your RRB JE 2024 CBT 2 admit card and the separate passport-sized photograph you bring must identically match your appearance on the exam day.
