Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is conducting the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) on February 27 and 28, 2025. The exam is being held in three shifts for Level 1 and Level 2 papers.

REET Level 1 Exam Analysis - Student Opinions and Feedback

As the REET Level 1 Exam has been concluded, students have shared their reviews and feedback on the exam. Many candidates found the paper well-balanced, with a mix of easy, moderate, and some challenging questions. However, since BSER did not allow candidates to take question papers outside, students faced difficulty in recalling exact questions. Overall, the exam included easy-to-moderate questions, though some were lengthy.

REET Level 1 Exam - Overall Analysis

  • CDP (Child Development & Pedagogy): Questions were lengthy but had an easy-to-moderate difficulty level. Many questions focused on conceptual understanding and pedagogy-related topics.
  • Language 1 and 2: Grammar-based questions were simple, but comprehension passages were slightly tricky.
  • EVS (Environmental Studies): Moderately easy section with a focus on real-life applications and basic environmental concepts. Questions on ecology, natural resources, and sustainable development were straightforward, while teaching methodology-based questions required deeper understanding.
  • Mathematics: Some topics, like Algebra and Mensuration, were more time-consuming compared to other sections.
  • Good Attempts: Most candidates successfully answered approximately 85 to 90 questions with confidence.

Ans: The REET exam consists of two papers:
 

  • Level 1: For candidates who want to teach Classes 1-5.
  • Level 2: For candidates who wish to teach Classes 6-8.
     

Both papers have multiple-choice questions (MCQs), covering subjects like Child Development & Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (for Level 1), and subject-specific content (for Level 2). Each paper is conducted for 150 minutes, with a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking.

Ans: Previously, the REET certificate was valid for 3 years, but as per recent updates, the validity has been extended to a lifetime. This means that once a candidate qualifies, they can apply for teaching positions in Rajasthan government schools without needing to reappear for the exam.
